David Deans, MBA

I am a Louisiana Native, and a long-term Colorado Resident. I am a former Division I collegiate athlete and a lifetime competitor. I earned my undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from the University of Northern Colorado, then went on to obtain master’s degrees in business administration and public health.

I’ve been in healthcare for 11 years, evolving from direct patient care to administration and leadership. I’ve been lucky enough to work in Mission-based Community Health Organizations and Hospitals, in for-profit and non-profit settings, which has given me well-rounded knowledge of healthcare and its impact on our American society at large.

My daily focus is to devote my time and efforts to improving the patient experience, strengthening clinician support, and reinforcing proper support to ensure Denver Wellness Associates maintains a strong foothold in providing Colorado with premier-level mental health services.

I practice an open-door policy not only for employees but also for patients, and I am always willing to engage those we serve in the community. I look forward to a continued, persistent work ethic to ensure we achieve our mission and vision!
