Kyle Malazdrewicz, LPCC
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate in Colorado, working under the supervision of Courtney Swanson. I earned my M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University and have experience in outpatient, residential, and private practice settings, including addiction recovery services. I work with children, adolescents, and adult men, with a focus on anxiety, depression, neurodivergence, and substance use and addiction.
My approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness practices, along with experience in trauma informed care and person-centered techniques. With younger clients, I use play therapy, since children’s brains are still developing, and play gives them a natural way to express what they can’t yet put into words. As someone who is neurodivergent and in recovery myself, I bring lived understanding to this work and know that every person’s path looks different.
I believe growth happens when people feel understood and supported without judgment. Together, we’ll build trust, set goals that feel realistic, and develop practical skills for the moments that matter most. I was raised in Evergreen, Colorado, and outside of the session you’ll usually find me on the golf course, cheering on the Avalanche and Broncos, or out with my two dogs and wife.
