Lacey Scotti, LPCC
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate who is passionate about creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and accepted. From a young age, I felt a strong pull toward helping others, which led me to pursue a career in counseling with a focus on working with adults and older adults.
Originally from Florida, I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a concentration in Neuroscience and Cognition, as well as my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. My experience includes working in assisted living facilities, psychiatric hospitals, and with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, along with conducting cognitive and psychological assessments. I also have training in crisis intervention, which helps me support clients during especially difficult moments.
I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and co-occurring concerns. I use an integrative approach that includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused techniques, always tailoring my work to fit each person’s unique needs.
I believe in meeting clients where they are and moving at a pace that feels comfortable for them. My goal is to help clients feel less alone in their experiences, build insight and coping skills, and begin to see that change and healing are possible. I feel honored to walk alongside my clients as part of their support system and personal journey.
