Lily Franklin, LSW

Lily Franklin, LSW

My name is Lily and I am a Licensed Social Worker based in Colorado with a strong dedication to supporting children and their families through life’s complex challenges. My path into the mental health field began at Michigan State University, where I completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology. I continued at the University of Denver, where I earned my master’s in social work with a concentration in adolescent clinical mental health and school social work practices.

I have held a deep interest in emotional wellness, especially in the lives of young people. I specialize with children under 15, with an emphasis on understanding their needs within the broader context of family and environment. My areas of focus include Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Identity Development, Family Dynamics, ADHD/ADD and Life Transitions. My professional background includes work in public school systems as a school social worker, as well as in a family therapy practice where I supported individuals and families impacted by substance use and relational strain. These experiences have shaped my commitment to inclusive, systemic, and responsive care. I believe therapy should reflect the individuality of each client. I take a personalized and collaborative approach, drawing from a variety of evidence-based methods to create a grounded and compassionate therapeutic experience. My work integrates somatic based practices with modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, Attachment Focused Therapy, Family Systems work, and Trauma-Informed Play Therapy. I am passionate about fostering a safe and supportive space where clients of all backgrounds feel seen, respected, and empowered to grow.
