Marisa Lucia Mestas Duey, LPCC
she/her
My name is Marisa Lucia (she/her), and I’m a licensed professional counseling candidate. I hold a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regis University in Denver, CO. I bring a culturally responsive, trauma-informed lens to my work with teens, young adults, and adults navigating identity, trauma, depression, anxiety, self-worth, life transitions, and grief. I have a particular passion for working with young people as they navigate the complexities of self-discovery, belonging, and emotional growth.
My clinical focus includes supporting BIPOC and multiracial individuals, as well as clients exploring spirituality, identity, and liberation from systemic oppression. I aim to create an inclusive, affirming space for clients of all backgrounds and lived experiences. I welcome all parts of you into the therapy space. I integrate relational-cultural theory, somatic and body-based practices, person-centered care, and liberation psychology. I approach therapy as a co-creative process grounded in warmth, honesty, connection, and authentic trust. My goal is to offer a space to explore the truth of your experience, connect with your inner knowing, and move toward healing in a way that honors your full humanity.
