Natalie Corbo, Physician Assistant

Natalie is a board-certified physician assistant (PA-C) dedicated to patient education and autonomy in their practice approach. They completed their Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience at the University of Pittsburgh, where they worked in a psychology lab using neuroimaging to study the effects of early life stress on brain structures. Their time as a Crisis Text Line volunteer prepared them to provide compassionate care to people dealing with exceptionally challenging circumstances, and they solidified their commitment to psychiatry while earning their Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Marietta College.
Their interest in mental health began at an early age while witnessing how their brother’s quality of life as a nonverbal autistic person with intellectual disabilities was improved with personalized psychiatric care accounting for his complex needs. They value working collaboratively with patients to build sustainable and comprehensive treatment plans that remain flexible as needs change over time. They strive to thoroughly understand each individual’s specific experiences and barriers in order to learn what accommodations may provide impactful support, and have a special interest in serving LGBTQ+ patients.
