Rebecca Laiho, LPCC

I am a licensed professional counselor candidate and have lived in Colorado for almost 10 years after moving here from the Midwest. I received my bachelor’s in psychology from the University of Colorado Boulder and my master’s in clinical mental health counseling from the University of Northern Colorado. While in school, I worked with a diverse client population including clients who have developmental and intellectual disabilities, clients with memory loss, individuals with disordered eating, clients who are on hospice, and adults and college students with various mental health diagnoses in both outpatient and residential settings.

I am passionate about helping clients heal and improve their mental health while providing a space for them to show up to therapy as their authentic selves. My goal is to offer a safe and comfortable environment in which clients can process and discuss difficult situations and emotions openly while also feeling empowered to do so. I have experience in providing person centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy.

Providing care for adults, areas I am most interested in include mood disorders, family dynamics, body image, affirming care for LGBT+ individuals, grief, and life transitions. I am so excited to be a part of the Denver Wellness team, and look forward to working with you in the future!
