Ronika Kone, SWC
I am a first-generation therapist who was born and raised in Colorado. I earned both my Bachelor's and Master’s degrees in Social Work from the Metropolitan State University of Denver, and I am a certified EMDR clinician. I am currently a Licensed Social Work Candidate (SWC). My passion lies in helping individuals navigate the complexities of their personal histories and trauma. My professional experience includes providing school-based and nonprofit therapy services, individual and group therapy, and brief family mediation.
I view therapy as shining a flashlight into the hidden, tender corners of your experiences. By acknowledging and gently holding space for the thoughts and emotions we find there, they naturally begin to shift. My practice is holistic, bridging the mind and the body. Because trauma lives in the physical self, I am passionate about addressing trauma-related somatic dysregulation, while helping you navigate repetitive cycles, loops, and limiting belief systems.
I draw from evidence-based, trauma-informed practices—including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and strengths-based approaches—to support your healing journey.
